But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect, (1 Peter 3:15)

What is the Gospel?

The Gospel is the 'Good News' of Jesus Christ concerning His provision for humanity's sin problem.

All men and women are born in sin due to Adam's rebellion.

(Genesis 3; Romans 3:10, 23; 5:12)

Sin separates all from God and destines them to an eternal punishment.

(John 3:36; Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:1-3; Hebrews 9:27)

But God, in love, intervened to provide the way to be set free from sin and have an eternal relationship with Him.

(Romans 5:8; 6:23; Ephesians 2:4-7)

Jesus Christ is the only person and provision for salvation from sin.

(John 3:16; 14:6; Acts 4:12)

This provision of God is experienced when you receive the grace of God through faith alone, not by works.

(Ephesians 2:8-9; John 1:12-13)

The method that God has provided for us to express our desire to receive His grace and forgiveness is prayer.

(Romans 10:9-13)
