God does whatever it takes to establish and maintain a caring relationship with personal beings. 

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Expressions of love:

​

1. Loving Kindness:

Nehemiah 1:5 And I said, “O Lord God of heaven, the great and awesome God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, 

2. Compassion:

Psalm 103:13 As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him.

3. Long Suffering:

Exodus 34:6 The Lord passed before him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness,

4. Grace:

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,
