Bio

 

Charity Kimes is passionate about loving others well and pointing them to God’s amazing grace. Charity, along with her husband Bradd and their friend Michael Baker founded Bright Apple in 2019 in order to provide healthy snacks for children in the local public-school system. Since the founding of Bright Apple over one million snacks have been distributed to children in need. Kimes has resided in Maury County, TN for over 30 years. She and her husband have been married for 31 years this December. The Kimes’ are blessed to have two strong grown sons, and a radiant teenage daughter. Charity enjoyed a 27-year career as a Speech-language Pathologist, and she continues to hold her CCC in Speech Pathology. She is currently working towards an additional Master’s Degree in Theological and Biblical Studies from Denver Seminary. Charity enjoys speaking and leading groups in order to disciple, teach theological concepts and impart Biblical truth.
