What to expect when you join us on a Sunday morning:
If you choose to join us any Sunday for our 10:30 a.m. worship service, you can expect to be welcomed warmly and accepted freely to worship God with us. We take great joy in being together
and in celebrating our faith, and all that God has done and is doing in our lives. Our services are fairly simple, so you can sit where you like, relax, and the rest will come pretty easily.
Just so you know, we do not take up a weekly offering during the service, but have offering boxes available so attendees can give their tithes and offerings which are used to meet our
financial needs.
Our Style of Worship
We enjoy singing as part of our worship service experience, so our praise band and singers will lead the way for us. We usually sing a couple of songs before the sermon to get our hearts prepared for God's Word. We also sing a couple of songs after the sermon in response to God's Word. We typically stand to sing, but that is not a requirement, so you are free to stand, sit, sing, or not sing, as you please. Most of our music is pretty easy to sing, and easily recognized by those with any experience in the church. If you don't recognize any of it, or don't care to sing, feel free to just listen to us. The last Sunday of each month, we sing hymns. We do not use hymnals but the words to the music are projected on a large screen for you to see and sing along with.
The Message
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word which has answers to every question and challenge in life. Each Sunday, we look to the Bible to discover what God says about this life and the life to come. Every message is an exposition of the absolute truth of God’s word which is relevant and practical for our lives.
The Children
We have a nursery availabe during the worship service for infants up to 3 years old.
Special Needs Children
We also provide a special needs class during the worship service for those families with special needs children.
Extras
Every three months, our church serves Communion during the worship service. This is often referred to as the Lord's Supper. It is a remembrance of the sacrifice Christ made for our salvation, which Scripture instructs us to observe. It involves small crackers and cups of juice, which we make available for our congregation. This experience is only for those who profess faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. If that doesn't describe you, then please feel free to not participate.
